Transitioning the Industry to Circularity



ResiLoop is intended as a new, effectively run and appropriately governed product stewardship scheme to address the challenges presented by past, current and future consumption of resilient floorcoverings in Australia.

RESILOOP'S OBJECTIVES

To enable increasing recovery and recycling of resilient floorcoverings in Australia at scale with the participation of a majority of product distributors and flooring installers.

To build onshore recycling capacity by researching and developing new end applications for the recyclate, encouraging investment  and employment in the recycling sector, and supplying recyclate to local manufacturers to reduce virgin material consumption.

To drive sector-wide behaviour changes that contribute to the circular economy by informing product development and engaging manufacturers, distributors, specifiers, flooring contractors, recyclers and consumers.

COLLECTIVE ACTION HAS IMPACT

Over 50 companies and peak bodies from across the floorcoverings value chain have confirmed support of ResiLoop's goal to commence a national product stewardship scheme by signing the  Collective Action Statement.

Signing is a demonstration that industry's collective action is essential in creating a circular future for flooring in Australia.
